Mental health Awareness Week

Minding our mental health is the one of the most important things we can do in life, yet sometimes we neglect it, push it aside.

Mental health Awareness Week provides a good reminder to all of us to look after ourselves, keep our mind and body on the right track and to look out for our family and friends as well.

The Amber Group did a great job organising a week of activities, starting with a ‘Bake Sale.’ The students were very excited with the array of home-baked goodies. They sold out quickly, as you can see in the photo of the crowd of students gathered around. It was a great way to brighten up a Monday while also doing some good for others as the proceeds were donated to Pieta House.

‘Post-it Wall,’ was a key part of the week, which saw the Amber group bringing a classes to the GPA which they filled in a post-it with a positive thought, before sticking it to the wall. They are still there today and a warm energy that from our ‘positivity wall’

Congratulations to the Amber Group on a wonderful uplifting week and for raising €300 for Pieta House from their Bake Sale.
